Powys County Council have advised of the forthcoming short term temporary closure of BOAT 43 Llanafanfawr and UCR U0011. The closure is required to carry out remedial work to the surface of the byway and county road.
The byway will be closed Monday to Friday over the period from Monday 14 July to Friday 1 August 2025. It will be open at the weekends and, if the work is completed earlier than 1 August, the closure will be lifted earlier.
The highways to be closed are byway open to all traffic 43 and unclassified county road U0011, Llanafanfawr from county road U0012 at SN932546 to Bryngwnfel at SN931539 for approximately 486 metres, as shown on the map above.
There is no alternative route.
