An auction of the classic and vintage exhibits in the Moretonhampstead Motor Museum is to take place at the museum in mid May. The founder had hoped a new custodian would take the venture on his retirement, but that has not proved possible and so the collection is to be auctioned. Under the hammer will come more than 150 motor vehicles, along with a diverse range of artefacts, memorabilia and petroliana.
Viewing for the auction will be on Wednesday May 14th, with the automobilia and motorcycle sale on 15th, and the the classic and vintage car sale on 16th. Entry on both auction days is by catalogue only.
