Powys County Council has advised that the short term temporary closure of BOAT 43 Llanafanfawr and UCR U0011 is to be extended by three weeks. The Council says that the work is progressing well, but more time is needed to complete it. The closure is required to carry out remedial work to the surface of the byway and county road.
The highways will be closed Monday to Friday over the period from Monday 4 to Friday 22 August, but will continue be open at the weekends.
The highways to be closed are byway open to all traffic 43 and unclassified county road U0011, Llanafanfawr from county road U0012 at SN932546 to Bryngwnfel at SN931539 for approximately 486 metres, as shown on the map above.
There is no alternative route.
